1st April afternoon, the Chinese famous alternative singer/song writer ZUOXIAO ZUZHOU released his new album The U.S.A. Though this album is named The U.S.A it has nothing to do with U.S.A. You know what I mean, don't you? But I think it contains some other meaning. One is that it based on the fact that U.S.A equals the world. ZUOXIAO ZUZHOU think his music in this album is worldwide. So he named his album The U.S.A. Two is that all people around the pool in the cover act the same and that action is banned in prison. Because that action is used to force the suspects to acknowledge their untestified accusation. So this cover points out that the U.S.A is a ganster country. But maybe, the title is just used to attract people's attention.

This album contains 14 songs. All songs are writen for the movie South of the Clouds(except for The Night in Ulan Bator[It is the theme song of the movie The World which is directed by Jia Zhangke]). This means the album is an original soundtrack album. ZUOXIAO ZUZHOU also said his music in this album is Neo-Folk and it will inspire a lot of other Chinese artists in the future. And the album's retail price remains the same as the previous one, RMB150. And, it is limited to 2000 copies, too!

To some People's surprise, the 1st and the 12th song are performed by the international famous violin musician Sheng Zhongguo.
